Forky rules. A spork with googly eyes and an existential crisis, and somehow he's the heart of the whole thing. Dimwitted and a genius at the same time. Welcome to the family, buddy.

Pixar keeps pulling this trick where they introduce new characters and you instantly love them. Duke Kaboom! Come on. That alone was worth the price of admission.

Four movies deep and they're still finding new gears.

And Woody's new purpose by the end? Noble. Genuinely noble. I wasn't expecting this fourth entry to land as hard as it did, but it stuck with me on the drive home and it's still rattling around now.

Seeing it in the theater with the family made it better. Big laughs hit bigger in a room full of people, and the quiet moments got the quiet they deserved.
