Masters of the Universe

Walked in with my kids, walked out grinning. That's the headline.

The action rips. Genuinely rips. I don't know what I was expecting from a He-Man movie in 2026, but I got my money's worth and then some.

Big, loud, swing-for-the-fences fun, and the theater amplified all of it.

Nick Galatzine nails Adam and He-Man. Two different gears, both believable, and he sells the whole thing. Idris Elba is just being Idris Elba, and that's a feature, not a bug. The man adds to every frame he's in.

The supporting cast holds up its end. The reveal landed for me. I won't spoil it, but it's the kind of beat that earns the cheer it's going for.

Honestly, I sat there trying to find something to nitpick and came up empty. It was just fun. Big, loud, swing-for-the-fences fun, and the theater amplified all of it.

Take everybody. Sword up. I'd do it again tomorrow.
