Bruce Willis is at his absolute peak here. This is the action-comedy version of him, the one that knows exactly when to throw a punch and when to throw a one-liner, and he nails both.

Mila Jovovich as Leeloo? She's a revelation. You'd never guess this was her introduction to most of the world. She owns every frame she's in.

Gary Oldman is amazing. That's not surprising news to anyone, but it still needs to be said.

Luc Besson built a future that I just wanted to live inside. The landscapes, the vibe, the action set pieces, all of it hums. It's the kind of world-building that makes you forget you're watching a movie.

Saw it with friends in a theater, and the theater absolutely amplified it. I'd run it back tomorrow. Everybody should see this.
